Creamy Protein Mashed Potatoes
Who knew mashed potatoes could have some PROTEIN in them, right? Greek yogurt is an excellent source of protein and believe it or not, it tastes like sour cream when mixed into mashed potatoes! In addition, adding in fat-free milk for some creamy-ness also gives your mashed potatoes a little more protein. This healthy bariatric surgery recipe is a must on your weight loss journey!

Ingredients
4 Large Yukon Gold Potatoes
1/2 cup Fat-free milk
1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup chives
Directions
Begin boiling a large pot of water on your stovetop. Meanwhile, start washing, peeling and dicing your potatoes. Add the potatoes to boiling water and cook until tender. Remove from heat and strain water out of potatoes. Add potatoes to a blender with Fat-free milk, Greek yogurt, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Mix in chives. Cook MorningStar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips on stovetop, remove from heat and crumble into bits. Garnish on top of mashed potatoes. Portion 1/4-1/2 cup, pair with a quality protein and enjoy!
