Splenda Candied Pecans
Sugar-free candied pecans? You bet - all with the help of Splenda! I used to make these just as a holiday treat until I discovered how delicious they are on top of salads, sweet potatoes, and Protein Packed Overnight Oats! They have become a year-round delicious, guilt-free recipe!

Ingredients
1.5 cups pecans
3 tbsp Splenda
3 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
In a saucepan, combine pecans, Splenda, water, vanilla extract and salt. Heat on high until boiling, then reduce heat to medium. Continue to stir until sugar crystallizes. Pour nuts onto a baking sheet with parchment paper and let cool. Serve on top of salads or add my Bariatric Trail Mix recipe!
